Let’s Get This Party Poppin!
Materials
- balloons
- cardboard toilet paper rolls
- confetti (or small scraps of paper)
- tissue paper
- scissors
- tape
Directions
Step 1 Cut the top end of the balloon off. This will be the piece that attaches to the bottom of the toilet paper roll.
Step 2 Stretch the balloon around the bottom of the toilet paper roll. Make sure everything is tight and secure. The tighter it sits, the bigger the pop will be. Tie the open end of the balloon as if it was a blown up balloon.
Step 3 Fill the cardboard roll with confetti or cut up pieces of construction paper. You want to fill the tube up about half way to get a fun surprise!
Step 4 cut a piece of tissue paper big enough to fit around the toilet paper roll and fold over the opening of the toilet paper roll.
Step 5 Use tape to secure the tissue paper around the toilet paper roll and cover the opening of the toilet paper roll.
Step 6 Tug on the balloon and the confetti will come shooting out the top!
